Abs System

NOTE: Use New Generation Star (NGS) tester or equivalent scan tool for this procedure.
  1. Perform conventional bleeding procedures first. See BLEEDING SEQUENCE  . Connect NGS scan tool to 4-pin (Black) connector located in left front corner of engine compartment. Connector is labeled BRAKE TEST.
  2. Using ANTI-LOCK test mode function, select ACTIVE TESTS. Select SERVICE BLEED PROCEDURE. To prepare for service bleed, depress brake pedal firmly.
  3. Start bleed procedure by pressing START button. Brake pedal will pulsate. Repeat NGS procedure 3 times. Perform conventional bleeding procedure.
