Hood Switch

Unplug control module, located behind "B" pillar. Measure resistance between terminal No. 5 (Brown/White wire) and No. 26 (Black wire) of harness connector. See Figure . Resistance should be more than 25 k/ohms with hood closed, and less than 200 ohms with hood open. If resistance is not as specified, replace hood switch and/or repair Black or Brown/White wires.
