Upper Control Arm Assembly: Installation

  1. Position upper control arm assembly to frame bracket. Install 2 attaching bolts and washers. Connect upper ball joint stud to spindle. Install pinch bolt and nut. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
  2. Install front wheel. Remove jackstands. Lower vehicle. Check and adjust front end alignment as necessary. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
