Brake Booster Assembly: Installation

  1. Position booster against firewall. Install and tighten booster-to-firewall nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Position master cylinder on mounting studs. Tighten master cylinder-to-booster nuts to specification. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Tighten master cylinder fittings to specification. Fill reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM . Operate brake several times. Check for leaks.
