Removal & Installation

Remove door trim panel and trim shield. Remove side view mirror. Reinstall window control switch and lower window to align window regulator-to-window glass retaining bolts with access holes in door.
Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug wire connector from window control switch. Remove 2 bolts retaining window regulator to window glass. While holding window glass, carefully pry regulator from glass. Pull belt line outside weatherstrip from door.
Raise rear of window glass upward and carefully remove from door. Loosen 3 regulator-to-door retaining bolts. Remove 3 window motor bolts. Slide window regulator bolts from slots in door and disconnect wire harness from window motor. Remove window regulator.
Remove 5 screws retaining window motor to window regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten window regulator-to-window glass retaining bolts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
