Power Steering Pump: Disassembly

  1. Secure pump in a soft-jawed vise. Remove support bracket. Remove supply tubes and "O" ring. Remove switch, spring, plunger and "O" ring.
  2. Remove valve outlet fitting and "O" rings. Remove valve and spring from valve bore. Reposition pump in vise for access to rear body bolts. Remove rear body and "O" ring.
  3. Remove cam ring. Remove rotor. Remove vanes. Remove side plate and "O" rings.
