If horn is always on, go to step 12).
  2. Disconnect keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. Check for continuity between keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254 terminal No. 24 and output side of fuse No. 9 (10-amp) in instrument panel fuse block. See Figure . If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair open in Brown wire.
  3. Disconnect keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. Check for continuity between keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254 terminals No. 14 and 25. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, repair open in Black/White wire.
  4. Measure voltage between ground and keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254 terminal No. 13. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open or short in Tan/White wire, and go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or greater, replace keyless entry control module.
  5. Check operation of parking light and autolamp relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If relays are okay, go to next step. If parking light or autolamp relay is faulty, replace appropriate faulty relay(s).
  6. Check condition of fuse No. 11 (15-amp) in instrument panel fuse block. If fuse is okay, repair open or short in Brown wire. If fuse is blown, replace fuse and go to next step.
  7. Disconnect keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. If parking lights do not turn off, go to next step. If parking lights turn off, replace keyless entry control module, then retest system.
  8. Disconnect headlight switch and keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. If parking lights turn off, replace headlight switch. If parking lights do not turn off, repair short to voltage in Brown wire.
  9. Disconnect keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. Measure resistance in Yellow/Light Green wire between horn relay and keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254 terminal No. 26. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair Yellow/Light Green wire.
  10. Check operation of horn and horn relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If horn and horn relay are okay, go to next step. If horn or horn relay is faulty, repair horn or replace horn relay.
  11. Check condition of fuse No. 16 (15-amp) in instrument panel fuse block. If fuse is okay, repair open or short in Yellow/Light Green wire, then go to next step. If fuse is blown, replace fuse.
  12. Disconnect keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C245. If horn does not turn off, go to next step. If horn turns off, replace keyless entry control module.
  13. Disconnect horn switch and keyless entry control module 13-pin connector C254. If horn turns off, replace horn switch. If horn does not turn off, repair short to ground in Yellow/Light Green wire.
