Test D: One Door Lock Does Not Work
- Check fuse No. 11 (15-amp), fuse No. 12 (10-amp), and fuse No. 29 (15-amp) in instrument panel fuse block. Check all connections for clean tight fit. Check for loose or damaged wiring. If fuse(s) are blown or wiring is faulty, replace or service as necessary and go to next step 3), (or step 2) for sliding door lock). If fuses and wiring are okay, and sliding door lock is inoperative, go to next step. For all other door locks, go to step 3).
- Using New Generation Star (NGS) scan tester, read PID LFDRLCK. DO NOT press switch before reading PID. If display does not indicate UNLOCK, check memory lock relay for shorted contacts. Repair as necessary. If display indicates UNLOCK, go to next step.
- Disconnect negative battery terminal. Check for continuity on Pink/Black and Pink/Orange wires between keyless entry control module and affected motor. If all wires have continuity, check affected motor for open winding. Repair or replace as necessary.
