Pinpoint Tests

NOTE: See ANTI-THEFT DIAGNOSIS CHART to determine testing according to symptom.

Before performing any tests on anti-theft system, check the following items to eliminate common problems:

Hood/liftgate properly aligned.
Door locks not binding.
Fuses No. 1, No. 12 or No. 35 not blown.
Loose or corroded connections.
Damaged wiring harness.
Damaged anti-theft control module.
Horn, headlights, hazard flashers, interior lights, power door locks and remote keyless entry system operation.
