WARNING:
Vehicle is equipped with an air bag system. System MUST be disabled before working near steering column and instrument cluster to prevent air bag deployment. See procedures in AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM

CAUTION:
Wiper motor contains ceramic magnets that may crack or shatter if motor is dropped or handled roughly.
Before performing any tests on wiper/washer system, check the following items to eliminate common problems:
- Fuses No. 18 (25-amp), No. 24 (20-amp) and/or No. 14 (5-amp)
- Damaged wiper motor.
- Damaged washer pump.
- Loose or corroded connections.
- Damaged wiring harness.
- Inoperative multifunction switch.
- Speed dependent feature deactivated.
