Removal & Installation

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Remove HCU dust shield. Disconnect ABCM electrical connector by sliding lock rearward.
- Remove 3 HCU bracket-to-frame bolts. Lift bracket hooks from frame and lower HCU to access ABCM. Remove ABCM bolts and remove unit.
- To install, reverse removal procedure, cleaning top of HCU before installing new module. Download information from NGS scan tester. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
