High Or Low Beams Inoperative

  1. Disconnect 6-pin and 14-pin connectors at combination switch. Measure resistance between terminals with the switch in the listed positions. See COMBINATION SWITCH RESISTANCE  table under HEADLIGHTS INOPERATIVE test. Go to next step.
  2. If combination switch is okay, but high beams do not work, repair open in Red/White wire between headlights and switch. If switch is okay, but low beams do not work, repair open in Red/Black wire between headlights and switch. If combination switch is not okay, replace combination switch.
