Pinpoint Test D - Anti-Theft System Does Not Operate From Remote Transmitter

  1. Turn ignition off. Unplug Black REM connector and 20-pin CPU connector. Measure resistance of Yellow/Red wire between REM connector and 20-pin CPU connector. Measure resistance of Yellow/Red wire between REM connector and ground.
  2. Resistance between REM connector and CPU should be less than 5 ohms. Resistance between REM connector and ground should be more than 10,000 ohms. If resistance is as specified, temporarily substitute known good REM, then retest system. If resistance is not as specified, repair Yellow/Red wire.
