Fuel Pressure Check

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE  . Install Fuel Pressure Gauge (014-00748) between fuel rails. Ensure pressure gauge drain valve is closed and main valve is open. Using jumper wire, connect Data Link Connector (DLC) fuel pump terminal to ground terminal. See Fig 1 . Turn ignition on, but do not start engine. Observe gauge reading. Compare gauge reading.
