Strut Assembly & Coil Spring: Installation

  1. Install spacer onto strut. Position strut into strut tower, with reference marks aligned. Install and tighten nuts on upper mounting block studs. Tighten nuts to 34-46 ft. lbs. (46-63 N.m).
  2. Install steering knuckle into strut lower bracket. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to 69-86 ft. lbs. (93-117 N.m) on all models.
