Cooling Fan Relay

  1. Turn ignition off. Using jumper wire, connect cooling fan relay connector Black/White wire and White/Black wire together. Measure voltage between ground and cooling fan relay connector Yellow wire. Less than one volt should exist.
  2. Using second jumper wire, connect cooling fan relay connector Brown wire to ground. Measure voltage between ground and cooling fan relay connector Yellow wire. More than 10 volts should exist. If cooling fan relay does not function as specified, replace relay.
