Removal & Installation: Compressor: Removal

Discharge A/C system using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Loosen A/C idler pulley, and remove compressor drive belt. Remove and plug refrigerant lines from compressor. Disconnect compressor clutch. Remove compressor-to-compressor bracket top bolt. Remove lock nut and stud from compressor and bracket. Remove 3 lower compressor mounting bolts.
