Electric cooling fan system consists of a 2-speed fan controlled by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) through a low cooling fan relay and a high cooling fan relay. Engine temperature is monitored by the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor. Cooling fans are activated when ignition is on and engine temperature is high. Cooling fan also operates when A/C system is in use.
