4-Door Master Window Switch Without Door Lock & Keyless Entry

  1. Remove window switch from vehicle. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Use a self-powered test light or ohmmeter to test window switch. With master window switch in neutral position, there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, and terminals No. 10. and 11. See Fig 1 .
  2. When raised portion of all switch rocker knobs is pushed (to raise windows), there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 11, and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9. When depressed portion of all switch rocker knobs is pushed (to lower windows), there should be continuity between terminals No. 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9, and terminals No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.
  3. With lockout switch button depressed into its detented position, terminal No. 11 should not have continuity with any other terminal. If master window switch does not test correctly, replace master window switch.
