Pinpoint Test D - Anti-Theft System Diagnosis
NOTE:
DO NOT
run any PINPOINT TESTS unless directed by QUICK TEST.
- Disconnect control module connector J2. Check for continuity between pin No. 9 of connector J2 and instrument cluster. See Figure . If continuity exists, go to next step. If no continuity exists, repair Black/Orange wire.
- Check anti-theft system. See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. If system does not check out, repair according to article procedure. If system checks out okay, replace keyless entry module and repeat PINPOINT TEST A - QUICK TEST .
