Carbon Canister

  1. Start and warm engine to operating temperature. Stop engine. Remove carbon canister. Carbon canister is located at right rear corner of engine compartment.
  2. Inspect carbon canister for presence of liquid fuel. Blow into air vent, and check for air exiting from fuel vapor inlet. Replace carbon canister if it contains fuel, or if air does not pass freely through it.
