Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test
NOTE:
Inspect fuel tank for distortion or damage. If distorted or damaged, repair or replace tank before testing.
Remove fuel gauge sending unit from tank. See, under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION, FUEL SENDING UNIT . Measure resistance between Yellow/White and Black/Yellow wire terminals of sending unit connectors as float arm is positioned as shown in illustration. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified in illustration, replace sending unit.
