Window Regulator & Motor

  1. Remove door trim panel. Disconnect motor connector. Disconnect regulator mechanism from motor. Supply power to motor lead connector with an ammeter in series.
  2. Operate motor and observe current draw. Current draw for a no-load test should not exceed 4 amps, and should not fluctuate. Reversal of motor wire connectors will reverse direction of motor rotations. Replace motor rotation if current draw exceeds 4 amps.
