Rear Window Regulator: Installation
- Lubricate regulator mechanism with Multi-Purpose Grease (D0AZ-19584-AA) or equivalent. Install regulator into access hole in inner panel. Position regulator using upper regulator studs and tabs on motor mounting bracket.
- Install rivets attaching regulator to door inner panel (1/4-20 x 1/2-inch bolt and 1/4-20 nut and washer assemblies or equivalent metric fasteners may be used as alternates). Install two upper regulator attachment nuts. Install door glass.
- Adjust glass. See WINDOW MECHANISM (REAR DOOR) under ADJUSTMENTS. Reconnect wire to regulator for power window if equipped. Check operation of window regulator. Install door watershield and trim panel to door.
