Fuel Control (7.3L Diesel)

The fuel pump delivers fuel from fuel tank to the fuel filter. Once filtered, fuel enters the injection pump. Fuel is then delivered under high pressure, through injection nozzles into cylinders. Injectors are equipped with a fuel return outlet. Excess fuel collected at the injectors and injector pump are recirculated back to the fuel tank.
