Checking Acceleration Signal

  1. Ensure ride control switch is in AUTO position. After FIRM RIDE light turns off, depress accelerator pedal to floor (with engine off as in TEST A4). FIRM RIDE light should come on.
  2. Release accelerator pedal. FIRM RIDE light should turn off after 4 seconds. If light comes on and turns off as indicated, proceed to TEST A8. If light does not come on, proceed to TEST D25. If light flashes code, record trouble code and proceed to TROUBLE CODES under TESTING & DIAGNOSIS.
