Checking Steering Sensor

  1. Wait until FIRM RIDE light turns off. With engine running and vehicle stopped, turn steering wheel from stop to stop 3 full times or until FIRM RIDE light comes on.
  2. FIRM RIDE light normally comes on before steering wheel reaches one stop. If light comes on for 5 seconds and then goes out, proceed to TEST A3. If light does not come on, proceed to TEST D11.
