Description & Operation: Operation: Autolock

NOTE: Autolock is not available on vehicles with manual transmissions.

NOTE: Any time battery voltage is disconnected and reconnected, the autolock feature will be activated. Attempting to start a vehicle with a weak battery may also activate the autolock.

All doors will automatically lock after all the following steps are completed:

The autolock feature is activated.
The driver's seat is occupied.
All doors are fully closed.
The ignition switch is in the run position.
The shift lever passes through the REVERSE position.

To activate the autolock feature, use the following steps:

Enter the five-digit code.
Within five seconds of entering the code, press and hold the 7/8 button on the keypad.
Within five seconds of pressing and holding the 7/8 button, press the 3/4 button and release.

To deactivate the autolock, repeat the above sequence.
