Module Check

Turn ignition off. Locate diagnostic connector in engine compartment, near brake booster. Connect digital voltmeter positive lead to diagnostic connector circuit No. 606. See Fig 1 . Connect negative lead to vehicle ground. Start engine and observe voltmeter reading. If voltage reading is 11-14 volts, go to PINPOINT TEST A2  . If voltage reading is zero volts, go to PINPOINT TEST A3  . If voltage reading is greater than 14 volts, correct over-voltage condition and go to PINPOINT TEST A2  .
