Keyboard Function Check No. 7

  1. Connect one lead of Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055) to Blue/Red wire at trip computer display connector. Connect other lead to ground. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-10,000 ohms and back again. Check whether METRIC, ETA, SET and RESET functions are displayed. Normally only ETA will appear on trip computer display. If not all functions are displayed, replace trip computer display. If all functions are displayed, repair Blue/Red wire between trip computer display and trim computer keyboard.
