Check Engine Warning Light Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Ground White/Blue wire at 18-pin instrument panel connector, located on right side of cluster, near steering column. See IDENTIFYING WARNING LIGHT CIRCUIT illustration. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
  2. If CHECK ENGINE warning light comes on, repair White/Blue wire between ECA and gauges. If CHECK ENGINE warning light does not come on, replace light.
