Power Seat Motors

  1. Disconnect power seat motor connectors.
  2. Disconnect power seat motors from seat linkage. See TRACK & MOTOR ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Apply 12 volts directly to motor terminals for 2 seconds.
  4. Reverse voltage polarity applied to motor for 2 seconds.
  5. Reverse voltage polarity applied to motor for 2 seconds.
  6. If motor operates properly in both directions then motor is functioning properly. If motor does not operate properly in both directions, replace motor.
