Intake Plenum &/Or Throttle Body (3.8L & 5.0L): Installation
Ensure mounting faces are clean. Position new gasket, and install intake plenum with throttle body onto intake manifold. On all models except 3.8L Sable & Taurus, install intake plenum bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article. On 3.8L Sable and Taurus models, tighten plenum bolts in sequence to specification. See Fig 1 . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
