Removal & Installation

CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory

systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may

exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle.

INFORMATION Section before disconnecting battery.

Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove snow/ice shield. Remove fresh air inlet duct. Disconnect wiring from alternator. Remove connector bracket. Disengage drive belt. Remove attachment bolts and alternator. Reverse removal procedure to install.
