Voltmeter Test
- Turn ignition on with engine off. Turn headlight switch on and set heater blower fan to HIGH position. Voltmeter pointer should move toward lower voltage scale.
- If pointer does not move, ensure fuses are good and check battery-to-circuit breaker and circuit breaker-to-cluster connections. If connections are secure, remove instrument cluster. Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER R & I . Ensure cluster connector has battery voltage. If voltage exists, replace gauge.
