Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Relay

  1. Install Breakout Box (T83L-50-EEC-IV) to wiring harness connector, leaving ECA disconnected. Measure voltage between breakout box test pin DRL and VPWR. With engine at idle speed and parking brake on, voltage should be 10 volts.
  2. With engine at idle speed and parking brake off, voltage should be zero volt. If voltage is not as specified, repair circuit between DRL relay and ECA. If voltage is as specified and lights are inoperative, replace DRL relay.
