Speedometer Signal Check No. 3

  1. Place test light between a 12-volt source and Green/Red wire at Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission (4EAT) connector.
  2. The 4EAT connector is located at 4EAT control unit, forward of left side of instrument panel. See IDENTIFYING SPEEDOMETER CIRCUIT illustration.
  3. Drive vehicle at 0-5 MPH. If test light glows, repair Green/Red wire between gauges and 4EAT connector. If test light does not glow, problem is indicated in 4EAT system. Repair as necessary.
