Washer Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition on. Engage washer switch. If washer motor operates but fluid is not sprayed, check fluid level. Check for disconnected, kinked or clogged hoses. Repair as necessary.
  2. If washer motor does not operate, turn ignition off. Disconnect washer motor connector. Using a 12-volt source, connect positive lead to Blue/Orange wire terminal and negative lead to Black "A" wire terminal of washer motor.
  3. If washer motor does not operate, replace washer motor. If washer motor operates, reconnect washer motor connector and go to ACCESSORY RELAY-TO-WASHER SWITCH SUPPLY TEST.
