Window Motor: Removal
- Disconnect battery negative ground cable.
- Remove door trim panel and watershield. DOOR TRIM PANEL (BRONCO & F-SERIES) or DOOR TRIM PANEL (ECONOLINE)

- Disconnect power window motor wire from harness connector.
- Check inside the door to ensure electrical wires are not in line with holes to be drilled in the door panel. Using a 1/2" (12.7 mm) diameter drill bit, drill two holes in door inner panel at drill dimples located opposite two exposed motor drive retainer screws.
- Remove three motor mount retainer screws using two drilled holes and existing larger hole access to screw heads.
- Push the motor toward outside sheet metal to disengage motor and drive from regulator gear. After motor and drive are disengaged, prop window in full UP position.
- Remove motor and drive from inside door.
