Keyless Entry Disarm

  1. On all models, arm the alarm system. Unlock driver's door, using keyless entry code. Open the door. If warning light blinks and alarm does not trigger, go to step 1) of ELECTRIC DOOR UNLOCK DISARM TEST.
  2. On Continental and Mark VII, if alarm triggers, use door key to stop alarm. Check keyless entry disarm relay and circuit No. 25 (Dark Green/Purple) wire for open circuit. See KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM article. On Cougar, Town Car and Thunderbird, if alarm triggers, go to step 5) or 6) of IGNITION KEY DISARM TEST.
