Camber Adjustment

  1. Minor adjustments to the camber and caster can be made by loosening the subframe attaching bolts and shifting the subframe. If this does not allow enough adjustment, loosen 3 upper strut mounting bracket-to-strut tower attaching nuts. Using a Rotabroach or Drill with appropriate sized bit, drill out 4 spot welds at upper strut alignment plate. See Fig 1 .

  2. DO NOT  drill any deeper than necessary to move alignment plate. Remove 3 upper strut mounting bracket-to-strut tower attaching nuts and alignment plate. Clean burrs from strut tower and alignment bracket. Paint exposed metal surfaces. Position strut and alignment bracket. Loosely install attaching nuts. Adjust camber to specification. Tighten attaching nuts to specification. Drill 3 appropriate sized holes for rivets in perimeter of alignment bracket. See Fig 2 . Install 3 rivets.
CAUTION: DO NOT  drill any deeper than 3/8" (9.6 mm) deep into strut tower.
