Steering Angle Sensor Check

Disconnect steering angle sensor connector. Set steering wheel straight. Set VOM on 200K-ohm scale. Measure resistance between Green and Green/Yellow wires while turning steering wheel slowly from straight to 180 degrees right. If resistance increases from 25K ohms to approximately 50K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B4. If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.

With steering wheel straight, measure resistance between Green and Green/Yellow wires. If resistance is between 20-30K ohms, proceed to PINPOINT TEST B4. If resistance is NOT within specification, replace steering angle sensor.
