Preliminary Inspection

Verify customer's complaint by attempting to operate headlight door system. Inspect linkages for mechanical bringing and proper headlight door alignment. See RETRACTOR HINGE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Inspect wiring and connectors for loose or corroded terminals. Check RETRA fuse (30 amp) located in main fuse panel, located to right of battery. If malfunction can not be immediately determined, perform HEADLIGHT RETRACTOR DOORS DO NOT OPERATE  procedure under SYSTEM TESTS.
