Door Locks - Power: Testing: Relays: Aerostar

The power door lock relay is located on lower right side of instrument panel support. Disconnect both connectors. Ensure terminal No. 1 of relay is grounded. If terminal No. 1 is not grounded, check relay case-to-ground screws for tightness.
If screws are tight, replace relay. With a test light connected between terminals No. 1 and 2, apply power to terminals No. 2 and 4 of each relay. See Figure . Do not leave light connected for more than 2 minutes. Test light should light. If test light does not light, replace relay.
