Motor & Harness Test

  1. Disconnect power seat motor connectors. Disconnect power seat motor from linkage.
  2. Using chart in Fig. Figure as a guide, check for correct voltages at power seat motor connectors. See Figure , Figure and Figure . If voltages are not correct, check harness between motor and power seat switch.
  3. Apply 12 volts to motors for 2 seconds. See Fig 1 . Reverse power supply leads for 2 seconds. Motors should operate properly in both directions.

NOTE: Manufacturer does not give removal and installation procedure for power seat motor.
