Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve

Two types of EGR valves are used. Turbo engines use an electronic EGR valve, which is controlled by the ECA and operated by vacuum. A position sensor monitors the valve's position.

Non-turbo engines use a ported type EGR valve and a remote back-pressure transducer.
