Master Switch (All Other 4-Door Models)
- With switch removed from vehicle, test with a self-powered light or ohmmeter. With switch in "NEUTRAL" position, continuity should be present between terminal No. 3 and terminals No. 4 through 11. See Fig 1 .
- When left and right front switches are pressed forward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 3 and 6, and No. 3 and 8. When left and right front switches are pressed rearward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 3 and 7, and No. 3 and 9.
- When left and right rear switches are pressed forward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 3 and 4, and No. 3 and 10. When left and right rear switches are pressed rearward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 3 and 5, and No. 3 and 11.
- Disconnect ohmmeter test lead from terminal No. 3 and connect to terminal No. 2. When switches are in "NEUTRAL" position, continuity should be present between terminals No. 1 and 2. When left or right front switches are pressed forward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2 and 7, and No. 2 and 9.
- When left and right forward switches are pressed rearward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2 and 6, and No. 2 and 8. When left and right rear switches are pressed forward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2 and 5, and No. 2 and 11.
- When left and right rear switches are pressed rearward, continuity should be present between terminals No. 2 and 4, and No. 2 and 10. If switch fails any of these tests, replace master switch.
