Continuous Monitor Mode ("Wiggle") Test Procedures

The "Wiggle" test allows the technician to attempt to duplicate an intermittent fault. When the fault occurs the VOM will fluctuate or indicate the fault code. The "Check Engine" light will blink.

If no codes are indicated on non-turbo vehicles, go to SWITCH MONITOR TEST  .

If a turbo vehicle is being tested and there are no codes indicated, but the vehicle stalls or quits on deceleration, go to CIRCUIT TEST C3  , step 1).
