Test 4, Cooling Fan Motor Ground Check

Disconnect electrical connector at cooling fan motor. Using a jumper wire, jumper Blue/Black wire terminal to ground. Apply battery voltage to Blue/Red wire terminal. If cooling fan motor runs, check connector for corrosion, bad crimps and loose connectors. If cooling fan motor does not run, check cooling fan motor harness for open or short. Check that cooling fan blades are free of obstructions. If okay, replace cooling fan motor.
