Tachometer Pulse Check No. 1

  1. Disconnect Yellow/Blue wire from ignition coil. Touch wire quickly to 12 volts.
  2. If tachometer needle jumps, go to WARNING LIGHT SYSTEM CHECK under WARNING & INDICATOR LIGHTS in this article. If tachometer needle does not jump, go to TACHOMETER PULSE CHECK NO. 2.
